Low-hanging fruit

Our satnav thinks we live in Amsterdam.

I don’t know why,

but when we’ve been somewhere and tap on “home”

she helpfully suggests a route to take

us back to 22 Hoogstaden Straat,

directs us south towards the Channel tunnel,

enquires if we might prefer a ferry crossing.

I wonder if our satnav’s bored?

Perhaps she feels she’s ready for a change,

would relish the challenge of guiding us

through the maze of little streets between

the flower market and the grachtengordel.
