Oh lucky man

Oh what a lucky life it’s been,

oh what a lucky life

three children, a dozen cats or so,

one dog, a loving wife.

Oh what a lucky life I’ve led,

oh lucky, lucky me,

never gone hungry, never been stabbed,

never been forced to flee.

Oh what a lucky life I had,

I totally can’t complain

that late in the day, my luck’s run out:

heart disease, cancer, brain.
